The production process of stainless steel round pipes mainly includes the following:
Cold drawing process
Characteristics: Stainless steel round tubes produced through cold drawing process have high dimensional accuracy and surface smoothness. During the cold drawing process, the pipe is stretched through a mold at room temperature to reduce its diameter, achieve uniform wall thickness, and improve the mechanical properties of the material.
Application: Suitable for occasions with high requirements for dimensional accuracy and surface quality, such as precision instruments, medical devices, aerospace and other fields.
hot-rolling process
Characteristics: The hot rolling process is carried out at high temperatures, and the tube blank is formed into a pipe through rolling. The wall thickness of hot-rolled pipes is relatively thick, with slightly lower dimensional accuracy, but high production efficiency, suitable for large-scale production.
Application: Commonly used in applications such as building structures, mechanical manufacturing, petrochemicals, etc. that require high wall thickness.
procedure
Characteristic: The welding process is to weld stainless steel plates or strips into pipes. The production cost of welded pipes is relatively low, and the quality of the pipes can be ensured by controlling the welding process parameters.
Application: Widely used in fields such as architectural decoration, furniture manufacturing, and general industrial pipelines.

Food grade 304 and 316 sanitary grade seamless stainless steel pipes

Material characteristics

304 stainless steel:

Chemical composition: Contains 18-20% chromium and 8-12% nickel.

Corrosion resistance: Suitable for most food and beverage contact environments, with good acid and corrosion resistance.

Mechanical properties: The minimum tensile strength is 75000 PSI.

316 stainless steel:

Chemical composition: Contains 16% -18% chromium, 10% -14% nickel, and 2% -3% molybdenum.

Corrosion resistance: It has stronger corrosion resistance to chlorides and acidic solutions, and is suitable for marine environments and handling acidic foods.

Mechanical properties: The minimum tensile strength is 75000 PSI.

 Characteristics of sanitary seamless pipes

Dimensional accuracy: The outer diameter tolerance is ± 0.05mm, and the wall thickness tolerance is ± 0.05mm.

Surface treatment: The inner and outer surface roughness Ra is ≤ 0.8 μ m, and mirror treatment can achieve Ra ≤ 0.2-0.4 μ m.

Hygiene standards: Compliant with FDA and GMP requirements, suitable for industries such as food, beverage, and pharmaceuticals.

Packaging: Use plastic sleeves to protect the pipes, seal both ends with plastic caps, tie with cloth strips, and choose wooden box packaging.
