The operation method of sanitary manual welding and clamping butterfly valves mainly includes the following steps:

Preparation before installation

Cleaning the pipeline: Before installation, use air spray to remove foreign objects from the piping, and clean the inside of the piping with clean water.

Check the valve: Carefully verify whether the use of the valve is consistent with its performance specifications (such as temperature and pressure), and check whether there are any impurities in the valve channel and sealing surface, and remove them in a timely manner.

Check screws: After opening the box, the valve should be installed in a timely manner and any fastening screws or nuts on the valve should not be loosened at will.

Installation steps

Installation of clamp type butterfly valve:

Place the valve between the pre installed two flanges, paying attention to aligning the bolt holes neatly.

Gently insert the bolts and nuts into the flange holes and tighten them slightly to correct the flatness of the flange surface.

Fix the flange onto the pipeline using spot welding.

Remove the valve and fully weld the flange onto the pipeline.

After the weld joint cools down, install the valve to ensure that there is sufficient space for the valve to move in the flange.

Correct the valve position and tighten the bolts, being careful not to tighten them too tightly.

Open the valve to ensure that the valve plate can open and close freely, and then slightly open the valve plate.

Cross balance and tighten all nuts to confirm that the valve can open and close freely again.

Operation method

Manual operation:

Sanitary grade manual butterfly valves use manual actuators (such as handles or levers) to drive the disc to rotate, thereby controlling the flow of fluid.

The operator only needs to rotate the handle to easily control the opening and closing of the valve, achieving control over the fluid. The operation is simple and intuitive.

Clear opening and closing indicators make the operation process intuitive and reduce the risk of operational errors.

Precautions

Sealing inspection: Ensure that the flange surface and sealing rubber are aligned, the screws are evenly tightened, and the sealing surface must be fully fitted.

Hygiene requirements: The valve body and all parts in contact with the medium are made of stainless steel materials, such as 304 or 316L stainless steel, to ensure hygiene.

Quick disassembly: With a unique clamp or clamping device design, installation or disassembly can be quickly completed without any tools, saving maintenance time.
